Shipley Structures Ltd provide the management expertise to undertake a full design and build solution for steel frame structures.

This stems from the initial design of the steel frame utilising the latest design software ie. Fastrak , through to the creation of ‘3D’ frame modelling using Tekla drawing systems, which are fully compatible with BIM models utilised by the Architects / Structural Engineers within the latest construction projects.

Our drawing capabilities also include the option to create 2D Autocad drawings for clarity of detail, in particular on high-intensity refurbishment projects.

The 3D drawing models produced provide a direct electronic link through to our fabrication workshops and are fully integrated with our ‘saw-drill line’ and automated fittings machines, which negates the need for any intermediate ‘manual’ input, thus maintaining speed of production, efficiency and accuracy.   

Materials lists are also automatically produced via the 3D drawing model, which provides accuracy of information and the accelerated progress of operations.
