OUTER WEST LEISURE CENTRE, WEST DENTON

We are pleased to announce that Shipley Structures Ltd have recently been awarded the structural steelwork package for the new Outer West Leisure Centre, West Denton in Newcastle for Morgan Sindall Construction, on behalf of the Newcastle City Council.

This will include for the supply, manufacture and erection of the structural steelwork including offloading and lifting into position only of the precast concrete flooring units, staircases and terrace seating units. Our scope of works also includes the off-site application of 60-minute intumescent paint to perimeter steels including site touch-up and painting of bolts.

Updates and photographs to follow, as the project progresses, with the steel erection due to commence September 2026.
