CE Marking

From 1st July 2014, all steel structures must be supplied by CE compliant contractors to comply with UK and EU law. Components manufactured from structural steelwork may be CE marked once they demonstrate compliance with the relevant harmonised European Standard.

The European Standard relevant to structural steelwork components is BS EN 1090.

Shipley Structures Ltd is proud to announce they have achieved CE Marking accreditation to Execution Class 2 of BS EN 1090

  • Responsible Welding Co-ordinator Certificate no. 003/14 for our Managing Director, Mr Mitch Weston; issued January 2014.
  • Welding Certificate no. 2273-CPR-0110-WC
  • Factory Production Control Certificate no. 2273-CPR-0110
  • British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) letter of acknowledgement dated August 2014 in relation to Shipley Structures Ltd CE Marking accreditation.
